Dartmouth

Athletics

BE Fit PT works in a collaborative fashion with all of the Dartmouth College athletic trainers in treating various injuries across the many sports.   We often provide help with the more complex injuries or post surgical cases in order to provide more extensive time and one-on-one attention which can often be a challenge for the busy trainers during sports seasons.  In addition, we service the many intramural sports (ie Rugby, Ultimate Frisbee) and clubs teams who do not have access to the Dartmouth Trainers.  We remain in close contact with the trainers on every patient’s status along with building collaborative plans to get them back playing in their sport quickly and effectively.  Go Big Green!

Dick’s House

During Dartmouth College’s school year we run a musculoskeletal Triage Clinic at Dick’s House (Dartmouth Health Services).  Undergraduate students, graduate students, and employees connected with the school may access this clinic, but need to be referred there by a medical provider at Dick’s House.  The clinic is designed to help determine additional orthopedic needs such as referral to PT/OT, orthopedic referral, and potential imaging needs.   Patients are also provided with guidance on self management of injury and basic exercise recommendations are made.   This service has proven invaluable to the student body by providing services on site and to the various providers at Dick’s House in helping them to have our orthopedic expertise available to triage and determine their patient’s needs.

D’Perks

Dartmouth College and DHMC Employees can benefit from our D’Perks program for employee benefits and discounts offered by many local businesses. They simply need to show their Dartmouth ID. We have changed our offer depending on the year, giving employees free or discounted orthotic screens, running assessments, or home exercise/rehab equipment.
