BE Fit Physical Therapy recognizes that returning individuals to a high quality of life and recovering from injury can require multiple inputs from a variety of practitioners.  It is always are goal to work collaboratively with other practitioners, physicians and health care providers as well to engage in services that support your return to health.  Below is a listing of some of the various programs we support and some of the connections we foster to continuously support your care and progress.

Collaborative Efforts with all Physicians

BE Fit works collectively with all types of providers – Primary Care, Orthopedics/Sports Medecine, Neurology, etc.  We work closely with physicians in the Upper Valley and surrounding areas – DHMC, APD, UV Neurology/Neurosurgery, Concord Orthopedics, Rutland/Sharon Gifford sites, Claremont, and other private practitioners.  We will help coordinate all referral needs, help obtain medical records and test results (MRI, Xrays) and confirm all necessary restrictions or protocols related to your care.  We are very familiar with these offices and their expectations for patient care.  Our ability to communicate effectively with your health providers is important in making sure you get the best possible care and outcome from the onset of therapy throughout your full recovery.

Local Area Sports

BE Fit is proud to support keeping the Upper Valley active and think that building these habits at a young age is critical.  We provide financial and educational support for many local athletic programs including Upper Valley Lightning Soccer, Hanover High School athletics, Upper Valley Hockey Association, Coaching for Captains life training program, and many others.  BE Fit has provided talks on concussion awareness/prevention/management, running injury free, ACL injury prevention programs as well as rehabilitation, preseason baseball training and injury prevention among other topics.  Contact us if you would be interested in injury prevention or treatment talks in your area.  BE Fit. Personal Training

Personal training is another valuable tool available at a variety of sites around the Upper Valley.  Again, BE Fit is familiar with many of these practitioners and their areas of strength.  We are always happy to work with our clients to help select a personal trainer that will best help them to meet their needs.  A smooth transition from therapy into training can be critical to a patient’s continued success in health and fitness.

Massage

BE Fit recognizes the value of massage therapy in helping many of our clients to recover.  We offer guidance to our patients on a variety of individuals available in the upper valley.  We can help you choose a provider based on your particular injury, provider location, and your wishes with regards to the type of massage.  We will communicate directly with these providers as needed regarding your case.
