Linda, what are your clinical interests?
“I enjoy treating most conditions. I find PT so interesting because we encounter such a range of diagnosis and I try not to exclude any particular area because we live in a rural area i do have interest in neuro motor control in addressing movement/retraining of movement and individuals who have complex medical histories that impact their care.”🤩
What skills have you developed more, Linda?
“I am more a jack of all trades and a master of none, again due to the diverse populations I have encountered over the course of being a PT in a small, rural community.⛰I have taken many different continuing ed courses and I was one of the first PTs in NH to be trained in dry needling. I have treated in every setting possible—home, ICU, ER, Med/Surg, schools, job sites, outpatient, and early intervention.👩🏼⚕️With the range of experience I have, I have learned to trest each person/condition with different approaches to accomplish their goals. I don’t always use the same method for everyone, but instead use every tool in my “tool box.” 💼
Lastly, Linda, what do you do outside of BEFit?
“I am a Taekwondo instructor and co-owner of Hanover Blue Wave—I have been training for over 40 years! I also love almost anything to do outside; walking, hiking, biking, swimming, gardening, and more.🚴🏻♀️🏊🏻♀️ I am a volunteer for the local high school robotics program called Upper Valley Robotics hosted at HACTC for the last 6 years. Music, arts, and entertainment, baking, trying new things; I’m open to everything! Needless to say, I stay busy.”🤗
